Journals I review for just reached 20
The list of journals I review for just became 20! (maybe I missed to track one or two) I love reviewing and I learn a lot in the process. Despite huge workload, I reviewed 08 papers in the month of April 2020. Although reviewing is time consuming and unpaid task, to keep the system function well, as a rule of thumb, every researcher should review at least two papers for every paper they submit to journals.
During PhD days, I would take a whole day to review a paper, sometimes even two. Over time, I improved both efficiency and quality. Now it takes 3-4 hours to review a paper. The suggestions to authors are much constructive and written in nice friendly wording. I don’t like rude reviewers and try my best not to be one.
